Bally – SS11 Presentation
Tuesday, October 19th, 2010Bally SS11 film
Monday, October 18th, 2010The SS11 Womenswear ready-to-wear collection features pieces from the Bally archive interpreted into contemporary garments. This mix of heritage and modernity is reflected in our presentation film – statuesque models rotate slowly on the spot, garments flickering and changing in time to an abstract soundscape of bird calls.
The models were shot by independent production facility Punderson’s Gardens.

Adidas F50 soundtrack
Thursday, May 13th, 2010We have created the soundtrack to a stunning new animated spot for the Adidas F50 football boot. The sound design led track helps to highlight the many hi-tech features of the F50 as it speeds around a dark abstract world of flowing lines and neon light.

Walking Tall
Thursday, January 28th, 2010Director Mark Jenkinson was commissioned to shoot a film celebrating the British Fashion Council’s 2th Anniversary. The holographic film of models wearing groundbreaking pieces from the last 25 years blurred the real with the hyper-real. Filmed on high speed cameras for slow motion playback, the 3D effect provided a dreamlike accompaniment to dinner in the Great Hall.

Royal Courts of Fashion
Wednesday, January 27th, 2010The British Fashion Council and INCA Productions approached Silent Studios to design & art direct the holographic projection content for the British Fashion Awards, held at Royal Courts of Justice, London. We invited Manvs.machine to collaborate from the concept stage and together created all the animation content for the awards, including title ‘roses’ that animated from bud to full rose, introducing each award. Our in-house music wing Resonate created the sound design – a mix of warm, organic, analogue sounds.
